Measurement of NTC thermistor
When measuring the NTC thermistor,cautions must taken to the following items:
Do not measure it in open air.The temperature varies a lot in open air. The measurement will not be accurate.Generally it will creates a 1 to 2 off on the measure ment results.
When using a high accuracy thermostat,allow time to reach thermal eauilibrium before conducting the test.
Maintain the voltages as low as possible to minimize the measurement error.
Thermostat needs to be calibrated when measuring at high temperature. |
